Terms & Conditions of Service
Effective Date: 14 October 2026 | Last Updated: 14 October 2026
Clear, transparent guidelines governing TVOLTSKILL home appliance repair, servicing, AMC, and training services.
01 CLAUSE
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the TVOLTSKILL website and the services provided by TVOLTSKILL ("we," "our," or "us").
TVOLTSKILL provides multibrand home appliance servicing, maintenance, repair, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), PCB repair, and technical training services.
By booking a service, accepting a quotation, purchasing an AMC, enrolling in a training programme, or using our website, you agree to the terms applicable to that transaction.
02 CLAUSE
Scope of Services
Our services may include:
- Air conditioner servicing, installation, inspection, and repair.
- Refrigerator servicing and repair.
- Washing machine servicing and repair.
- Home appliance PCB inspection and repair.
- Preventive maintenance and AMC packages.
- Technical training for AC, refrigeration, washing machines, and PCB repair.
Services are subject to technician availability, service-area coverage, appliance condition, spare-parts availability, and the scope agreed with the customer.
03 CLAUSE
Service Booking and Appointments
- Customers may submit enquiries or request appointments through our website, telephone, WhatsApp, or other authorised channels.
- A booking request is not confirmed until TVOLTSKILL provides confirmation.
- Customers should provide accurate contact details, service addresses, appliance information, and fault descriptions.
- Appointment times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, technical complexity, emergency jobs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of significant delays.
- Customers should ensure that an authorised person is available at the service location.
- Repeated cancellations, denied access, or missed appointments may result in applicable disclosed visit or cancellation charges.
04 CLAUSE
Inspection and Visiting Charges
- A visiting or inspection charge may apply when a technician visits the customer's premises.
- The applicable charge should be communicated before the visit is confirmed.
- The inspection charge covers the specified visit or diagnostic activity, not necessarily the repair.
- Repair, labour, spare parts, gas or refrigerant, installation, transportation, and other additional work may be charged separately.
- If a customer declines the repair after inspection, the applicable disclosed visiting or inspection charge remains payable.
- Any waiver or adjustment of the visiting charge must be confirmed by TVOLTSKILL.
- Customers should approve the applicable estimate before chargeable repair work begins.
05 CLAUSE
Diagnosis, Estimates, and Customer Approval
- A technician will inspect the appliance to identify the reported fault, to the extent reasonably possible.
- Diagnosis may require testing, dismantling, or further examination, subject to the customer's approval where necessary.
- Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.
- Additional faults may be discovered during repair. We will communicate material changes in scope or price and seek approval before undertaking additional chargeable work.
- Customers may decline a proposed repair. In that case, disclosed inspection charges and any separately approved work already completed remain payable.
- TVOLTSKILL will not knowingly represent an unverified diagnosis as a confirmed fault.
06 CLAUSE
Pricing and Payments
- Service charges will be communicated through the applicable quotation, rate card, job card, or other agreed communication.
- The final payable amount will reflect the approved service scope, labour, parts, applicable taxes, and other disclosed charges.
- Payment must be made through the payment methods authorised by TVOLTSKILL.
- Customers should request an invoice or receipt for payments made.
- Additional work or parts outside the approved estimate require customer approval.
- Any applicable taxes will be charged in accordance with law.
- Disputed charges will be reviewed using the quotation, job card, invoice, and relevant service records.
07 CLAUSE
Spare Parts and Replacement Components
- Spare parts may be original manufacturer parts, compatible parts, refurbished parts, or repaired components, depending on availability and the option agreed with the customer.
- The type of part and its price should be communicated before installation.
- Spare-part availability, cost, and delivery times may vary by appliance brand, model, and age.
- Removed or replaced parts will be handled in accordance with the agreed service arrangement and applicable law.
- Any manufacturer warranty or supplier warranty on a part is subject to the terms issued by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.
- TVOLTSKILL does not claim to be an authorised service centre for a particular brand unless that authorisation has been expressly established.
08 CLAUSE
Service Warranty
- Any workmanship or repair warranty will be specified on the invoice, job card, warranty certificate, or written service confirmation.
- Warranty coverage applies only to the repair, parts, and period expressly stated in the relevant document.
- A repair warranty does not automatically cover unrelated faults or the entire appliance.
- Warranty claims may require inspection by TVOLTSKILL.
- Where a covered defect is confirmed, the remedy will be as stated in the applicable warranty terms and subject to applicable law.
- Manufacturer warranties on appliances or parts remain subject to the relevant manufacturer's conditions.
- Warranty exclusions must be reasonable, disclosed, and consistent with applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer right.
- Customers should retain their invoice and job card when requesting warranty assistance.
09 CLAUSE
Circumstances Where a Service Warranty May Not Apply
Subject to the written warranty and applicable law, warranty coverage may not extend to:
- New faults unrelated to the original repair.
- Physical damage, accidental damage, or misuse after service.
- Unauthorised repair, modification, or tampering after service.
- Faults caused by external electrical supply problems, water damage, pests, or other external events not covered by the agreed warranty.
- Consumable items or parts specifically excluded in the written warranty.
- Inspection-only visits where no repair was performed.
- Cleaning-only services where no repair warranty was expressly provided.
- Cases where a customer declined the recommended repair and no repair was performed.
These exclusions do not remove liability for defective workmanship, misrepresentation, or other matters for which TVOLTSKILL remains legally responsible.
10 CLAUSE
Air Conditioner Services
AC servicing may include inspection, filter cleaning, specified cleaning activities, and performance checks according to the package purchased.
Unless expressly included in the approved quotation, the following may be chargeable separately:
- Refrigerant or gas charging and leak repair.
- Major spare parts and electrical components.
- PCB repair or replacement.
- Compressor replacement.
- Installation, dismantling, relocation, or height-related work.
- Special equipment, scaffolding, or access arrangements.
- Civil work, concealed piping, and electrical modifications.
The exact inclusions and exclusions depend on the selected service package or AMC agreement.
11 CLAUSE
Refrigerator and Washing Machine Services
The applicable service package will specify whether cleaning, inspection, labour, and parts are included.
Unless expressly included, charges may apply separately for:
- Compressor, motor, and major component replacement.
- PCB repair or replacement.
- Refrigerant leak detection, leak repair, and gas charging.
- Drum, bearing, pump, valve, and other component replacement.
- Structural damage, water leakage caused by external plumbing, and electrical supply faults.
- Transportation, dismantling, and special installation requirements.
The technician will communicate additional recommended work and obtain approval before undertaking chargeable repairs.
12 CLAUSE
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
AMC services are governed by the specific AMC plan purchased by the customer.
The AMC document or rate card should identify:
- Covered appliances and registered addresses.
- Contract start and expiry dates.
- Number and type of preventive maintenance visits.
- Covered breakdown visits and labour, if applicable.
- Spare-parts coverage and monetary limits, if any.
- Exclusions, response targets, and additional charges.
- Renewal, cancellation, and refund conditions.
An AMC does not automatically cover every appliance fault, every spare part, refrigerant, or major component. Coverage depends on the selected plan and written terms.
Additional work outside the AMC scope will be quoted separately and requires customer approval.
13 CLAUSE
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate booking and appliance information.
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to the appliance.
- Inform the technician of known hazards, prior repairs, or relevant appliance problems.
- Provide a suitable working area and access to necessary utilities where reasonably required.
- Secure valuables and personal belongings before work begins.
- Review and approve quotations for chargeable work.
- Pay agreed charges in accordance with the invoice.
- Follow reasonable operating and maintenance instructions provided after service.
Customers should not ask technicians to undertake unsafe or unlawful work.
14 CLAUSE
Safety and Refusal of Unsafe Work
- TVOLTSKILL may postpone or refuse work where the site presents an unreasonable safety risk, access is unsafe, the appliance cannot be handled safely, or required facilities are unavailable.
- Where reasonably possible, the customer will be informed of the reason and any practical alternative.
- Any additional charges or rescheduling conditions will be communicated before they are applied.
15 CLAUSE
Limitations and Responsibility
- TVOLTSKILL will exercise reasonable care and skill in delivering the agreed service.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, TVOLTSKILL is not responsible for faults unrelated to the agreed work, pre-existing defects, or damage caused by unauthorised third-party interference after service.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, including applicable statutory consumer rights.
16 CLAUSE

Any applicable cancellation charges, refund eligibility, processing periods, or training-course refund conditions will be communicated in the relevant booking terms, AMC agreement, or course refund policy.
TVOLTSKILL will handle refunds in accordance with the applicable written terms and mandatory legal requirements. Nothing in this section removes a customer's statutory rights.
18 CLAUSE

Personal information collected through enquiries, service bookings, AMC registration, payments, and training enrolment is handled in accordance with the TVOLTSKILL Privacy Policy.
Customers and students should review the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is used, retained, and disclosed.

We will review complaints in good faith and request relevant documents where necessary, such as invoices, job cards, photographs, or booking confirmations.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the appropriate forum or court having jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this clause restricts a consumer from exercising any mandatory statutory remedy.
21 CLAUSE
Changes to These Terms
TVOLTSKILL may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Changes will apply as permitted by law and will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under an existing agreement.
